Staff Recommendations

Sizing

We have found that Fuji’s gis fit true to their size chart for the most part. We recommend sizing up if you are towards the top end or between sizes on the size chart. Like all gis, you will experience slight shrinkage over time.

Weight

Despite the jacket weighing in at 550GSM, this gi is surprisingly lightweight compared to other 550GSM jackets we’ve tried. Side by side, it’s surprisingly similar to the Fuji Lightweight Gi.

Would We Wear This?

Absolutely. This gi should be a staple in anyones rotation, and is our go-to recommendation for anyone buying their first gi. We love the fit, feel, and minimal branding.
